About
I’m not entirely sure how I got here either.
Hello, I’m Sunay. When something catches my interest, I like to follow it, take it apart, and occasionally find myself somewhere that has very little to do with my original question. It might be a matter of science or technology, a book I’ve read, a series I’ve watched, a place I’ve visited, or some small detail from everyday life that has lodged itself in my mind.
I started this blog to keep all these scattered curiosities in one place. There may be posts about my work here too. But this is not a serious corner of the internet devoted solely to professional subjects and wearing a tie. What I write about will mostly be decided by whatever happens to interest me at the time.
I think of the writing here less as finished ideas and more as margin notes: notes that change as I think about them, bear little resemblance to one another, and sometimes intersect in unexpected places.
Fermat also wrote his famous theorem in the margin of a book and remarked that the proof he had found was too large to fit there. Humanity spent more than three centuries working out what to make of it. To avoid causing a similar misunderstanding, I am simply going to try to leave enough room for my margin notes. :)

Alongside all of this, there is also the work I do. Rather than repeating my experience, education, and technical background at length here, I keep them together in one document.
